Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22nd to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainability. The first Earth Day was celebrated in 1970, and it has since become a global event observed in more than 190 countries. Today, we are reminded of the importance of protecting our planet and its natural resources. It provides an opportunity for individuals, communities, organizations, and governments to come together to promote environmental awareness and take action to reduce the impact of human activities on the environment.

The focus of Earth Day has evolved over the years, but it generally includes activities such as tree planting, recycling initiatives, environmental education programs, and political advocacy for environmental issues. Many organizations and individuals also use the occasion to launch new initiatives or campaigns to promote sustainability.
When we launched our signature Cheta hoodie in 2021, we had three main goals: support the education of young girls in West Africa, support the employment of persons living with disabilities and protect the environment by using eco-friendly packages. As billions across the globe celebrate Earth Day today, we feel even more obligated to reduce our carbon footprint. We continue to explore new ways of embracing a more sustainable approach to the production, distribution and disposal of clothes.
Earth Day reminds us that we all have a role to play in protecting our planet and creating a more sustainable future for all. We want to know how you celebrated this year's Earth Day.
